Light In The Box has bogus sizes and returns policy
I ordered 5 items from Light in the Box. It took a month for them to arrive and when they did arrive, the only thing that fitted was a pair of shoes and they are so synthetic that they smell terrible.
I am a US size 6-8 and the clothing items in size large barely fitted a friend who is a US 4. When I requested a return I was told that these were made to order items which they are not and that I would have to take photographs of myself showing how they didn't fit.
Ultimately they said they would not take the return if I had ordered the wrong size. Finally, when I went to write a review and gave the site one star it mysteriously timed out every single time I tried to post it.

I cannot find any way to contact them...why is there not a phone number or invoice with return information when product arrives? I will be contacting my credit card company to stop payment.

I am very unhappy because today when I received the formal evening dress, I open and try it on, but I found out someone had been used and re fixed it much smaller. Therefore, I cannot fit in.
I urgently need to exchange it enable to attend my daughter's wedding on 10-16-2015. Please guide me what should I do. I try to contact the phone, but no one answer the phone.

I have my packing list with my order number yet my profile on Light in the Box says that I have never placed an order. I have no way of getting in touch with them to return the TERRIBLE dress that we received.

If we shipped you a defective or damaged item: You are eligible for a full refund or exchange. ย I received a BM dress that had pleats missing, zipper bunching and one side of the dress hangs lower than the other.
I provided pictures to customer service and asked for a refund due to a defective product. Three times they have offered me a partcial refund. $40, $66, and today $80. The other option is to send it back at my expense.
$185 dollars to ship back a dress that cost me $200. I'm contacting my credit card fraud department today.
Light in the box does not care about their customers. They have your money and know you won't return the product because you'll be out even more money.ย
This is exactly the same as my story! Two dresses, the sizes ridiculously big and no ability to return; they wanted Photos and any reviews mysteriously 'slip' off or are never posted.
PLEASE BEWARE. Do not purchase anything unless you have a pool of people who may wish to purchase it off you if it doesn't fit.
